About these terms
This website is operated by Danray Pty Ltd as trustee for the Huyuan Family Trust (ABN 37 373 165 733) trading as Paws on Trek. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Paws on Trek; “you” means the person using the site.
Using the site
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, or scrape or copy its content for commercial use without our written permission.
Product information
We describe our products as accurately as we can, including sizing, materials and colours. Colours can appear slightly different between screens, and measurements can vary by a small margin between production runs. If a product does not match its description, you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
Pricing and currency
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Shipping is calculated at checkout. We may change prices and run promotions at any time, but changes never affect an order we have already accepted.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full before dispatch.
Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our acceptance happens when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order if the item is out of stock, if we suspect fraud, if the order is for resale, or if there has been a pricing or description error — in which case we will refund any amount already paid.
Payment
Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details. By submitting a payment you confirm you are authorised to use that payment method.
Delivery risk
Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you supplied. If you provide an incorrect address and the parcel is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange redelivery, which may incur an additional postage charge.
Returns
Returns, size swaps and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds policy, which sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Intellectual property
The Paws on Trek name, logo, photography, copy and site design are owned by us or licensed to us. You may not reproduce them without our written permission, other than sharing a product page link or image for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Reviews and user content
We only publish reviews from genuine customers. If you send us a photo or review, you give us permission to feature it on our site and social channels. We will not edit the meaning of your words, and you can ask us to remove your content at any time.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.
Our products are dog gear, not safety-critical equipment. Always inspect your gear before use, check straps and hardware regularly, and supervise your dog when wearing a harness, leash or restraint.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of that state.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you order is the version that applies to that order.
